Starr Haas is a Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive in Moultrie Insurance’s West Columbia, South Carolina office. She manages a wide range of commercial insurance accounts, handling new and renewal marketing, coverage reviews, client requests, and day-to-day service needs. Starr is dedicated to assisting clients wherever possible, ensuring they receive responsive, thorough, and knowledgeable support.
Starr joined Moultrie Insurance in 2024, bringing with her nearly four decades of industry experience, beginning in 1987. Prior to Moultrie, she worked with USI (2021–2024) and IMG/Brown & Brown (2019–2021), where she managed and serviced commercial accounts. From 2016 to 2019, she held a similar role with Keenan Suggs/HUB International. Earlier in her career, Starr spent seven years with Custard Insurance Adjusters (2006–2013), where she managed CAT Operations, oversaw claim files, coordinated with adjusters and clients, and negotiated settlements.
She also gained valuable experience assisting with the launch of a new State Farm Agency (2014–2016), where she focused on building long-term client relationships based on trust, satisfaction, and loyalty. Across every role, Starr has consistently demonstrated her ability to assess client needs and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions to help mitigate risk.
Starr holds a South Carolina Property & Casualty License, a Life & Health License, and an active South Carolina Adjuster’s License. She is committed to professional growth and regularly completes continuing education courses to stay in good standing with the South Carolina Department of Insurance.
Outside of work, Starr is actively involved in her church, Eason Memorial Baptist, and community and is always ready to serve where needed. Born and raised in Columbia, SC, she now lives in Eastover, SC with her husband of 31 years, Randy, and their dog, Gracie. She has two sons, David Michael (wife) Katie and Matthew Adam (wife) Heather and 6 grandchildren, whom she proudly calls her greatest joy and accomplishment in life.

Prior to entering the insurance industry, Steve built his career in the contractor space, where he gained firsthand experience running a business and navigating the unique challenges contractors face.
A graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Construction Management (2015), Steve has firsthand experience in the trades as a former project manager and business owner. Steve’s deep understanding of the contracting world allows him to bridge the gap between insurance and real-world business needs. He is passionate about helping contractors and business owners protect their operations, employees, and long-term growth with tailored insurance solutions. Danny Gordon is a dedicated insurance professional with a unique background in both athletics and sales. A former football player at the University of South Carolina, Danny competed at the highest level, honing leadership and teamwork skills that have translated seamlessly into his career. After his playing days, he continued to contribute to the Gamecocks football program as a graduate assistant coach, where he developed a deep understanding of strategy and discipline.
After transitioning out of coaching, Danny spent three years in sales, where he refined his communication and client relationship skills, building a strong foundation for his current role. With Moultrie Insurance, he leverages his diverse experiences to provide exceptional service and tailored solutions to clients.
Outside of work, Danny is an avid golfer and tennis enthusiast. His passion for these sports reflects his commitment to staying active, competitive, and engaged—traits that he brings to both his professional and personal life.

Perry Orth was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Ponte Vedra High School in 2012. He went on to earn his degree from the University of South Carolina in 2016, where he also played quarterback for the Gamecocks under legendary Head Coach Steve Spurrier and later Will Muschamp.
Joining South Carolina’s football program as a preferred walk-on in 2013, Perry began his career buried sixth on the depth chart. Through perseverance, discipline, and relentless work ethic, he rose to become the starting quarterback in the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He was awarded a full scholarship prior to the 2015 season and ultimately appeared in 20 games, including 11 starts. He finished his career with 2,595 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and was voted Team Captain by his teammates for the 2016 season.
His collegiate career was highlighted by several honors, including being named a National Semi-Finalist for the Burlsworth Award, given to the nation’s top former walk-on, and a nominee for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes academic success, community leadership, and on-field excellence.
Following his football career, Perry co-founded Moultrie Insurance and Right To Bear Association, where he serves as Vice President. He also co-founded and leads QB1 Athletics, a nationally recognized quarterback training and development program that works with athletes from youth through the professional ranks.
In addition to his business leadership, Perry is active in media and community engagement. He has a weekly spot on 107.5 The Game breaking down South Carolina football and is a recurring guest on the SEC Network’s SEC This Morning, hosted by Peter Burns and Chris Doering. He is also a frequent speaker with organizations like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where he shares how faith shaped both his athletic and professional journeys.

Frank Cannon was raised in the small town of Andrews, South Carolina, and is a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina.
With a lifelong career in the insurance and risk management industry, Frank has owned and partnered in multiple agencies throughout His 33 year career. In 2021, he co-founded Moultrie Insurance and Right To Bear Association, where he currently serves as President.
Outside of his professional life, Frank has a deep passion for music. He has spent much of his life singing, writing, and ministering through song. In 2018, he released his first Christmas album, writing eight of the ten tracks and collaborating with close friends from the Grammy-winning country music group Diamond Rio.
Frank has been married to his wife, Laurie Blume Cannon, for 33 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Blakelee and Katelynn, and a wonderful son-in-law, David.
